Peter Beard

Peter Beard is the Founder and Director of GenFinance.AI. 

GenFinance.AI exists to accelerate finance professionals through the rapid, reliable and responsible adoption of generative AI.

The company was created to address the fundamental challenges facing finance functions: lack of value created, slow processes, manual work, fragile systems, high costs, and incremental improvements that fail to meet the profession’s needs.

The company provides three core services:

1. Deployment of AI agents and workspaces for finance teams and accountancy practices.
2. Training and upskilling programmes to ensure professionals use AI effectively.
3. Advisory services to guide CFOs and finance leaders on platform selection, governance and adoption strategy.

Peter has over eight years of experience in finance and accounting. At Ernst & Young (EY), he managed a range of audits (including FTSE and EURO Stoxx 50-listed), contributing to EY's AI research and leading technology transformation projects. Peter was awarded twice by EY UK, for his "Significant contributions to innovation initiatives" and "Exceptional technical proficiency and quality commitment".
