| OBJECTIVES |
All ICAEW members are required to undertake CPD. This course is specifically designed to meet the CPD needs of accountants working in business. The course will provide delegates with a comprehensive update on accounting issues relevant to accountants working in industry and commerce. Comprehensive notes are provided which facilitate future reference. The courses are run half yearly and maximum benefit is obtained by attending both. |

- The latest accounting standards and abstracts issued by the ASB and the UITF and also by the IASB
- The current UK timetable for switching to IFRS including the role of the IFRSSME
- Financial Reporting Review Panel – latest comments on narrative reporting, press notices, IFRS compliance and topical accounting issues
- Latest developments on the “cutting clutter” and “excess baggage” initiatives
- Relevant technical releases from professional bodies
- The Companies Act 2006 in practice
- Relevant issues from the world of audit!
