OBJECTIVES

During the course of the average working day many of us spend considerable time using Microsoft Office applications. Most organisations could save hours each week, or even each day, by using Microsoft Office more efficiently. This course will look at a range of tips and techniques, many simple but some more advanced, that will save you and those you work with time and frustration. Please note this is not a ‘hands-on' course, but will provide practical advice, demonstrated through examples and with comprehensive documentation.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Accountants in both business and practice who currently use Microsoft Office applications and desktop tools

TOPICS

  • Excel – techniques to save time and reduce risk and errors
  • Word – eliminate the repetitive and promote consistency of presentation
  • Access – the Office missing link – understand Access and double your efficiency
  • PowerPoint – avoid 'Death by PowerPoint'
  • Outlook – triumph over the evils of email and take charge of your office life
  • Integrate to accumulate – some ideas on helping the separate Office applications work well together
