| This course will make participants aware of the latest developments in direct taxes which give rise to planning opportunities and pitfalls that they and their clients need to exploit or avoid. Full coverage will be made of all relevant press releases, statements of practice and case law decisions, and the emphasis will fall heavily on the practical ways in which accountants can help their clients to exploit the opportunities and avoid the pitfalls.
Please note that the course will run twice in SESCA (29/6 & 18/9) being presented by Chris Jones in June and Giles Mooney in September. The September course comprises the the popular Saturday morning sessions of the annual residential taxation conference at Sussex University and is offered as a stand-alone course to anyone who does not wish to attend the whole conference. Attendees on this course should be aware that the contents will exclude major topics covered elsewhere in the conference. |
