| OBJECTIVES |
With ever increasing movement of individuals into and out of the UK, many practitioners now find themselves dealing with international personal tax issues. This course seeks to explore the basic issues, as well as considering the planning opportunities. At the time of writing, the latest consultation documents covering a proposed new statutory residence test and further amendments to the taxation of non-domiciles have caused widespread comment – and not all favourable. It is hoped that the issues will have been settled by the date of the course. |
| WHO SHOULD ATTEND? |
This course will be of interest to all accountants and tax advisors advising personal and corporate taxpayers moving into or out of the UK. |
| TOPICS |
- Residence and ordinary residence – not as straightforward as it was?
- Domicile and the remittance basis – a practical approach
- Employment issues
- Trading income
