There is such an abundance of regulations, both legal and professional, that it becomes ever more difficult to find time for the work that practitioners are paid to do, let alone recover their costs.  Yet despite their ever-increasing quantity and complexity, financial fraud is still on the increase, and recent events have shown that the regulations are no proof against recklessness and incompetence.  The course aims to provide up-to-date information about the current state, and effectiveness, of the various regulations; and give hints as to effective practical ways of implementing them.
