• By the use of “frequently asked questions” and case study examples, the lecturer will remind delegates of the requirements of various accounting standards.
• Standards covered include those dealing with fixed assets, investment property, accounting policies, provisions, events after the balance sheet date, related parties and revenue recognition.
• Common problems arising from the Companies Act will also be considered including the use of small company exemptions, dividends and the disclosure of transactions with directors.
