| OBJECTIVES |
Excel 2007 introduced radical changes to the familiar user interface, recklessly destroying all the old menus and all but a single toolbar. For many, Excel 2007 was unnecessary, unproductive and nothing more than an excuse to charge update fees. Now we have Excel 2010 and, to the consternation of some, Microsoft has persevered with the ribbon. Even worse, it has introduced some fantastic new Excel features that might tempt even the hardiest ribbon-haters to defect. This course will show you why Excel 2007 wasn’t quite as bad as you thought, why the changes to the ribbon in Excel 2010 might actually make it better than menus and toolbars, and why Slicers, Sparklines and PowerPivot mean that you may no longer have a choice about upgrading. |
| WHO SHOULD ATTEND? |
Users of Microsoft Excel that haven’t yet upgraded to Excel 2010 and are wondering whether they should. Users of Microsoft Excel that have upgraded to either Excel 2007 or Excel 2010 and want to make sure they’re getting the most out of it. Anyone who hates the Excel 2007 ribbon. Anyone who loves the Excel 2007 ribbon and wants to know how Excel 2010 makes it even better. Anyone who uses Excel. |
