| OBJECTIVES |
Many audit firms have clients with specialist activities who prepare accounts and report under companies’ legislation, or clients where there is a legal and regulatory background which needs to be considered in planning and conducting the audit, but for which there is no published guidance. This course will outline some general procedures which can be applied in any such specialist audit, but will focus on some of the most commonly encountered sectors such as leisure –restaurants, pubs and hotels - and the construction industry. |
